Trader Classified Media signs national Open AdStream Ad Serving Technology Deal with 24/7 Canada
Toronto, March 6th, 2006 - 24/7 Canada Inc., Canada’s leading Internet marketing solutions company, a division of 24/7 Real Media Inc., today announced an expanded agreement with Trader Classified Media, one of Canada’s leading publishers of print and electronic classified advertising. The deal extends the use of 24/7’s full service ASP Internet ad serving solution, Open AdStream Central, to manage Trader Classified Media’s Web advertising operations.
Trader Classified Media, with over 140 well-known and respected Canadian classified listing print publications, also owns and operates leading automotive, real estate and general merchandise classified listings Web sites. With this rollout, Open AdStream will power online advertising programs on www.autotrader.ca, the largest vehicle Web site in Canada, www.buysell.com, which leads the market in general classified advertising, French language www.occasion.ca, www.hebdo.net, and www.visitenet.com, and western-Canada’s leading real estate site, www.homebase.ca.
"Significant growth in our Internet ad business required us to evaluate the tools we had in place," said Melanie Balana, online production and design manager of Trader Classified Media. "We’re confident that this agreement with 24/7 Canada and Open AdStream will give our company the necessary technology and expertise it needs to dramatically ramp up our online advertising business."
24/7 Canada’s Open AdStream Central features world-class, centrally-hosted, ad serving technology administered by Canadian and US based personnel, whose expertise and commitment to customer service is second to none. Open AdStream Central clients are able to outsource their entire ad serving process, including ad trafficking if desired, and avoid upfront equipment capital costs and the expenses associated with day-to-day operations.
"This national roll out is a tremendous vote of confidence in the Open AdStream technology," said Jeff Lancaster, director of technology and search solutions for 24/7 Canada. "We’re confident that we can help the entire Trader Classified Media organization achieve its online advertising goals."
These agreements come on top of several significant wins for 24/7 Canada’s technology division, including recent agreements with NowToronto.com, Aeroplan.com, Morningstar.ca, theChronicleHerald.ca and Covers.com.
