Peter Jurew

SVP, Marketing

David MoorePeter Jurew is Senior Vice President for Marketing at 24/7 Real Media. Peter is responsible for developing a marketing strategy to support the revenue and growth goals of the company. He oversees global marketing initiatives across the company and business lines. As part of the executive management team, Peter offers strategic direction and guidance for the company.

Prior to joining 24/7 Real Media, Peter served for six years as Vice President of Marketing for Meredith Corporation’s Digital Media division. In this role, he successfully launched the Meredith Women’s Network digital brand positioning and go-to-market strategies that enabled the Digital Media division to increase profitability significantly, and expand major brands – Better Homes & Gardens, Parents, Fitness – into key emerging digital platforms such as social, video, mobile, companion apps and tablets. Peter also launched the Meredith digital Idea Lab, a custom digital solutions team that harnessed the power of Meredith National Brands via more than a dozen custom creative applications across all media platforms.

From 2008-2010, he worked in a dual role at Meredith, serving as senior marketing executive for both Meredith’s digital media and Meredith’s Parents Network, the combined Parents and American Baby marketing group he successfully organized and led beginning in 2006. In this role, he spearheaded the development of the Parents and American Baby brands Prior to joining Meredith, he was the senior marketing executive on two iconic, blue chip media brands, serving as Associate Publisher, Marketing for Time Inc.’s People, and Associate Publisher, Marketing for Conde Nast's The New Yorker, In addition, he developed and executed the business plans for the launch of Every Day With Rachael Ray for the Readers Digest Association.

Before that, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer of Inside.com, one of the highest-profile Silicon Alley start-ups, which was successfully sold to Primedia. Prior to joining Inside.com, Jurew spent six years as Chief Marketing Office of Hearst/Dow Jones’s joint venture, SmartMoney.

Peter Jurew graduated from Boston College with a degree in English and Political Science. He lives in New York with his wife, Erin, and 14-year old daughter.
